Every room at Panda was built for a different kind of work, and they can run at the same time. Track a band in West while vocals happen in East and edits run in Baby Panda. The rooms are calibrated, interconnected, and built to keep one project moving across the whole facility at once.
Best for Full band tracking, drums, loud guitars
This is the room. What You Don’t See, Colourmeinkindness, The Finer Things: if you know a Panda drum sound, you have heard this live room.
A 14-foot ceiling, acoustics designed by Jeff Hedback, then built and obsessively refined by Sam Pura around the records made here. The "Drumbrella" moves the kit from tight and controlled to wide open without touching a mic stand.
Play the part once. Then hear it through eight amp heads and eight cabinets, switched from a custom iPad system, without playing it again, until one sounds like the record. Nobody spends the session repatching gear.

Best for Band tracking, synths, overdubs, full sessions
A complete second studio with its own live room, not an overflow space. East runs full sessions independently, and it's where a lot of records actually get made when a band wants the Panda sound at a working-band rate.
It's also the synth room. Analog synthesizers, drum machines, and enough character to build a whole production without touching a guitar.

Best for Vocals, DI guitar & bass, writing, programming, editing, overdubs
Every room at Panda is calibrated to the same standard, so work moves around the building without losing quality. Baby Panda handles everything that doesn't need a large live room: vocals, DI guitar and bass, writing, programming, editing and overdubs.
That calibration is the point. A vocal cut in here sits alongside one cut in West without anyone hearing the difference, which means a session can run in parallel across the facility instead of queueing for one room. Solo artists and producers use it as a home base; bands use it to keep a record moving while the big rooms are working.

NATURAL REVERB CHAMBER
Storage, loading, and the studio's secret weapon. The raw concrete volume makes a reverb you can't plug in, perfect for gang vocals, ambient overdubs, and the sound of a room that's genuinely big. It is also where the workbench lives, serving all three rooms: intonation, action, truss rods, soldering. Useful infrastructure and a genuinely weird creative space at the same time.
20+ YEARS OF RECORDS
Records made at Panda line this hallway. It's the first thing you see and the reason a lot of bands drive a long way to get here.
Most studios end at the door. Panda has beds, a shower, a fridge, a microwave and a coffee machine, so a band traveling in doesn't burn budget on hotels or lose the thread driving back and forth every day.
You wake up where you're working. If an idea shows up at 2am, the room is right there and the building is soundproofed, so nobody's asking you to stop. Fremont has a huge amount of food nearby and every delivery option you'd want, so the only thing you have to think about is the record.
